Step 1: Start by Removing Bungees

• Front End Bungees: Begin at the front end of the trailer, removing two bungee cords on each side. This lets the cover slide freely forward.
• Rear End Bungees: Move to the back of the trailer and remove four bungees — two on each side.

Step 2: Release the Rear Flap

Next, release the flap secured by velcro on each side, and pull down the rope attached to the “garage door” at the back. Secure it to hooks on the driver’s side.

Step 3: Release Tension Straps

Release the straps that hold the Conestoga tight against the frame, loosening them to ensure smooth movement. Then, unhook the connectors attached to the outer covering on both sides.

Step 4: Align and Move the Panels

• Move the First Panel: Start by pushing the first panel forward.
• Align the Rear Panel: Ensure the rear panel connects securely to the one in front by aligning a metal bar from the first panel into the channel and bracket on the second panel. This connection stabilizes the rear panel as you slide the entire assembly forward.
• Push Panels Forward Evenly: Keep an eye on both sides to prevent the cover from catching between panels, especially in windy conditions.

Step 5: Check the Track Alignment

As the trailer cover reaches the front deck, align the rollers into the track. The front panel must lock securely, allowing the covering to remain stable as you load and secure the freight.

• Rear Panel Entry: As the rear panel reaches the back track, ensure it aligns with the guide track to prevent jams.
